From 7th to 11th April we have learnt how to celebrate Easter in England. We did some activities in Arts & Crafts, in P.E and in our lessons. Blanca also came to the school to show us some traditions.
Durante la semana del 7 al 11 de Abril hemos aprendido cómo se celebra la Semana Santa en Inglaterra. Hemos hecho actividades en Plástica, en Motricidad y en clase. También vino a contarnos algunas cosas Blanca.
It was very interesting because Pre-Primary and Primary School were learning the same festivity!
Ha sido muy interesante porque los de Infantil y los de Primaria hemos aprendido la misma festividad.
First, we decorated the Easter Eggs. Then we put them in a basquet.
Primero, decoramos los huevos y después los pusimos en una cesta.
The second day we played "Egg hunting". We had to hide the eggs in the playground and children had to find them.
El segundo día jugamos a "Egg hunting". Escondimos los huevos por el recreo y los niños tuvieron que encontrarlos. La tradición dice que se tienen que esconder en un jardín, pero como no tenemos....

At the end of the week Blanca explained us some information about the festivity. We learnt a song called "Hot cross buns".
Al final de la semana Blanca nos explicó algunas cosas sobre la festividad. Aprendimos una canción sobre unos bollitos.
